Netrunner 101

– A discussion on the basics. These are things that every Netrunner player will need to understand, but may not be immediately obvious from just playing the base game.

Runner Fundamentals

– The Panel takes us through the fundamental specific to the Runner. We cover aspects such as knowing your rig; knowing your opponent; and reducing ICE to a number, rather than a name.

Corp Fundamentals

– The Panel continues the discussion with a segment on fundamental specific to the Corp. They cover everything from identifying a scoring window (and how to exploit it), to recognising R&D Lock and how to avoid it.

Have you ever wondered what The Winning Agenda crew might think of your decks? Well now’s your chance to find out!

Over the next fortnight, The Winning Agenda is running a competition to find out who among our listeners has the best and most interesting deck building skills.

For your chance to win, send us an email to thewinningagenda@gmail.com with your name, postal address, proposed decklist and a short passage on the overall concept and strategy of your deck.

We will be on the lookout for decks with coherent strategies; twists on old archetypes and interesting new ideas!

Over the coming weeks, The Winning Agenda crew will select a few of the submitted lists to sleeve up and test. When the entries close, we’ll choose our favourite submission, and do a deck tech for it in an upcoming episode!

Episode 9

Melbourne Netrunner League

The Winning Agenda is proud to present the Melbourne Netrunner League!

During the league, participants will receiving two pairings per fortnight.

In that time, players will organise with their opponents when and where they would like to play, before reporting their results to the Melbourne Netrunner League facebook group.

The league will run for a number of Swiss rounds plus one, depending on the number of entrants we.

At the end of the league, we will cut to a top 8 double elimination, all held on the same day (location TBA).

Decklists will be required  for the event, and players are able to change their decklists each fortnight. This is a great way to get some testing in with fresh decks, and new ideas!
We have been working very hard on this behind-the-scenes and are confidant this league will be fun, competative and accessable for players of all levels. If you love playing Netrunner, and live in the Melbourne area, you should defiently join! If we get twenty players, more prizes will be added to the pool!
